Our last performance for 2017 was a collaboration with the Midlands Meander Education project. It was held at the Howick Agricultural Hall on 29th November. Such a fun and well attended event.
The marimbas entertained guests on arrival, playing outside in the sunshine at the entrance. Great to see them enjoying themselves and the confidence they have gained.
After the official welcome, our Hawkstone Primary Choir sang so beautifully and were followed by our saxophone girls showing off their amazing skills.
We were so proud of all the students and humbled to see the difference music can make in their lives.
We love the collaboration between the various NPO’s – it’s encouraging to share the energy and feel-good factor of our various programmes.
It was a wonderful event, a great way to finish off a successful year. Not only did we play music, but we were interviewed and filmed by the N3TC team, one of our very generous sponsors. Thank you – we cannot wait to see the video, watch this space.
